Boardin @ The Bungalow would be considered "A vacation at a Doggie Playland" for your dog. An evaluation for your dog is mandatory. Your dog must be social in order to board here at The Bow Wow Bungalow. We require proof of being current on vaccinations i.e. rabies, distemper combo, and bordatella - within 6 months. Current flea treatment is also mandatory. If your pooch needs to loose a few pounds, spending a week at The Bow Wow Bungalow is an excellent way for them to slim down. With a carefully monitored diet and a full days worth of playtime, the extra pounds will melt away. If your dog tends to be on the shy side, we offer a socialization program designed to bring those shy dogs out of their shells.  
Unfortunately, due to Bow Wow Bungalow reaching capacity, we are no longer able to accept non-social dogs for boarding. This applies to any doggie who is either non-neutered or non-spayed, and/or has any aggression issues with other doggies at all. We will be happy to set up an evaluation for your dog to determine whether we will be able to board him or her. Please call us well in advance of your travel plans in order for us to evaluate your doggie. 
Our kennels are spacious and comfortable (approximately 4 feet by 8 feet.) All buildings are isolated, have heaters, swamp coolers, misters and fans. We have a total of 72 kennels at our facility. Each kennel has rubber mats on the floor for your pets comfort. Bringing your dogs own bed and toys is always encouraged (as long as they will not be eaten) as they tend to make your dog feel more secure and "at home". If you don't have your own doggie bed, our staff will make a bed out of our own comforteres, so your dog is more comfortable. Bringing your dogs own food is also recommended as a sudden change in diet can upset your pets digestive system. Many owners choose to feed the food we feed, which is Artemis. It is an excellent, hollistic type food that dogs do very well on. 
~When the weather gets hot enough, all boarding rooms have water misters that transform the rooms into a tropical rainforest. Paradise awaits your dog.~ 
Your dog plays outside from approximately 7am-7pm. In most cases coming in only to eat and sleep. If you have an email address that can be reached while you are away, we will glady send you pictures of your dogs vacation. Boarding Drop Off Hours - 7am - 4pm (If you must drop off before 7 am, we will have to charge a $30 fee, & there is a $50 late fee checking in after 4pm) - Boarding Dogs May Not Be Picked Up After 7pm - BOARDING DOGS MUST BE PICKED up by 1pm (After 1pm incurs Half Day Care Charge of $27.50)
